Hi everyone,

As a reminder, there are a few places a DVD can be located:

1. DVD Collection- 1st floor Dome: These DVDs have no special labels on their exterior. If a patron returns them, they go on the marked shelf on the Hold shelf under the TV.
2. Circulation Desk Media: Both Beige sliding cabinets’ drawers. Light blue sticker on spine. In order by DVD number.
3. Course Reserve- 4 Hour- with Call Number as “DVD RESERVES”: they’re in order by the professor’s last name on the spine in the Top 2 drawers of the Left Beige sliding cabinet in Yellow cases.
4. Course Reserve- 4 Hour- with Call Number as DVD-#: they’re on the short shelves to the left of the beige cabinets with a yellow ON RESERVE sticker on the spine. They’re in order by DVD number.

Starting today, the Asian Collection is being moved to the 3rd floor, between the end of the HX call numbers and the beginning of Government Publications.

We need to notify anyone needing the Asian Collection that they may find their items on the 3rd Floor and that some items  from Gov Pubs  may now be in Compact Storage.

The target date for the move completion is the last day of classes.  We are doing this to expand the Chicana/Chicano Collection area on the first floor, provide for growth for the Asian Collection, and eventually, provide more study space on the first and third floors.
