Dear Library Faculty and Staff:
A community user was charged with battery against our security guard in an incident that occurred late last night in the library. As far as we know, our guard sustained no long-term injuries. The community user has been issued with an order to stay off campus for 7 days and a University Police investigation is underway. The university will be issuing a statement soon.
