Only one set of bones per Red ID – no exceptions.
NO OVERNIGHT CHECKOUT!!
If someone handed you a toilet seat, would you take it?
Well, phones are far dirtier and even more full of bacteria. Don’t handle them and, if you do, make sure you disinfect yourself afterwards.
Ask the user to write down the call #; that’s why we supply paper and pencils all along the counter.
If you’re not busy helping Library users, you should be pro-active helping students look up material.
If someone doesn’t know how to look up a book, either Reserves or in our regular collection, take them to the computers at the end of the counter if time permits – if you send them to the computers without going with them they usually don’t even know what they’re looking at.
So, not helpful.
If there’s a line waiting, use your own computer to show the student the process. You can let them know that they need to do it themselves next time.
A reminder regarding confidentiality of information – never share personal information about any of our Library users, and do NOT share schedule information about the student assistants.
