At about 1 pm a patron came down to complain that the custodian James was yelling at a patron on the 4th floor. So Beau contacted the custodian supervisor who came to the library and spoke with the patron and then spoke with James. There are more details in the incident report Beau wrote. -CDC

Sierra down again
At 2:40pm Sierra went down again on the Circ computers and this time the self checkout machines stopped normally functioning too. I was able to check out a test book, but it took a long time to print a receipt and when it finally did, it went to an Out of Order screen and the bottom message read “We never received end session response from the ILS.” Now at 3pm, the self checkouts go to the Out of Order screen as soon as the Red ID is swiped and the under message reads “ERR_SIP_too_many_command_send_retries.”-CDC
It is now 4:17pm and Sierra still has not returned to normal. We can get it to work for a couple minutes at a time but that’s about it.-CDC
